2024 Omaha AA Christmas Party

The Omaha Area AA Christmas Party Committee's purpose is to present a Christmas Party that serves as a fundraiser for the Greater Omaha Central Office.

This is the only fundraiser for the Central Office.

NEW LOCATION

The Christmas Committee is excited to present the 2024 event at a new location - the DC Centre located at 11830 Stonegate Dr, Omaha, NE 68164 <click for directions>.

We have two adjoining ballrooms open for our event. No stairs/elevator for transitioning to multiple floors. In fact, the table you select for eating will transition and used as the same seating space for enjoying the entertainment/skit, and listening to our guest speaker.

DATE/TIME

Saturday December 14th 2024

  • Full event with dinner ticket holder? Doors open at 5pm
  • Speaker Only ticket holder? Please arrive after dinner at 7pm

TICKETS:

Christmas Party with Dinner - $35

  • Due to menu planning with the caterer - Dinner Ticket sales cut off as of Dec 7th.

Christmas Party Speaker Only - $20

  • We will still be selling the Speaker-Only tickets up until the evening of the event, you are welcome for walk in sales for Speaker Only - after dinner about 7pm.

Our ticket selling goal is 400 Dinner tickets to keep on budget this year in the new venue.

We have sold 200 tickets, meaning  we are only half way toward accomplishing our sales goal! Thanks to everyone who has already purchased their tickets.

 

DINNER / DRINKS:

The DC Centre has an on-site caterer who offers an Italian dinner buffet.  You can look forward to:  salad, rolls, mixed vegetables, and a main dish such as beef spaghetti with red pasta sauce.

Vegetarian? - you can go through the line and select your meatless items. No special arrangements need to be made ahead of time.

Gluten-Free? - this facility happens to cater to your dietary needs.

But arrangements need to be made ahead of time, with pre-sale tickets and coordination with the venue and event chairperson Kim A. by 11/23/24.

Free beverages are also available to all ticket holders (speaker and dinner) throughout the event. These include various Coke products, coffee, water, and lemonade.

 

ACTIVITIES:

We have the traditional Crafters and Raffle you have come to expect each year at this event. As well as the entertainment/skit prior to our guest speaker. followed by a dance.

New this year we are adding an hourly 50/50 raffle.

Please join us this year to celebrate with your friends in fellowship, to kick off a new holiday season. Perhaps you can jumpstart some holiday shopping with the craft items, and win big with both our raffles (traditional and 50/50)!!!  Plus your generosity helps out the Central Office and those in our community throughout the year.

  • Reserve Gluten Free Dinners - Saturday, November 23
  • Dinner Ticket Sales Deadline - Saturday, December 7
  • Speaker Ticket Sales - up to the evening of the event - Saturday, December 14
